Joshua Harris threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Stephen Clements in the fourth quarter to help Tuskegee beat Alabama State 17-10 on Thursday in the Turkey Day Classic.

Division II Tuskegee (9-2) leads the Turkey Day Classic series 48-31-3 and the overall series 60-33-4. Tuskegee has won 12 of the last 15 games between the schools.

Alabama State (7-4) will face Texas Southern on Dec. 11 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference title game in Birmingham. The Hornets won the Eastern Division in the Football Championship Subdivision conference.

Harris was 11 of 22 for 196 yards for Tuskegee, and Antoine Mitchell caught a 60-yard pass to set up Clements' touchdown and finished with three receptions for 110 yards.

Nykeem Barton opened the scoring for the Golden Tigers with a 20-yard run in the first quarter and Eduardo Murillo added a 24-yard field goal to make it 10-0 in the second.

Andrew Lyons made a 28-yard field goal for the Hornets in the third, but Harris found Clements up the middle with 9:59 left to give the Golden Tigers a 17-3 lead.

Alabama State quarterback Devin Dominguez completed the scoring with a 5-yard run with 8:08 remaining.

Dominguez was 20 of 35 for 208 yards, but threw three interceptions and also lost a fumble.

The first interception stopped a long drive, with Kevin Phinazee picking off Dominguez's pass at the Golden Tigers 1. Kelvin Robbins recovered a fumble and also had an interception, and Roland Smith intercepted Dominguez's final pass of the game.
