Three Notre Dame commits named in ESPN's top 300 recruits

In the world of college football recruiting, if you're not planning for the future you're going to be left behind. Adhering to this credence, the Fighting Irish are already building a formidable Class of 2016.

Three Notre Dame commits were named in ESPN's updated ranking of the top 300 recruits, according to Tyler James of the South Bend Tribune. They are Liam Eichenberg (No. 56) and Tommy Kraemer (No. 147), both offensive linemen, and running back Tony Jones Jr. (No. 295).

The Irish are still waiting on possible commitments from 11 other Class of 2016 recruits that made the prestigious list.
