Texas Tech still holds power over OU's Mayfield

A few years ago, Texas Tech didn't believe Baker Mayfield was worth a scholarship. And they weren't alone. They did, however, believe he could really play, and Mayfield shined early on in Lubbock.

Thanks to NCAA transfer rules, Texas Tech determines whether or not Mayfield will be eligible for the 2017 football season at Oklahoma. CBS Sports dove deeper into this situation, and the irony of Tech holding Mayfield's rights despite not ponying up to offer him a scholarship.
