The 2015 version of Texas Tech is pretty easy to sum up. It was amazing on offense and an absolute train wreck on defense. As a result, the Red Raiders were about average as a team with all things considered.

Changes needed to be made on defense, and Kliff Kingsbury is certainly making them. Three defensive assistant coaches were just fired: Mike Smith, Trey Curtis and Kevin Haverty. Smith was a co-defensive coordinator.

The Red Raiders gave up 540.2 yards per game this season.
