Texas fans making push for Saban
Texas tailgaters were spotted wearing "Saban 2014" shirts as the Longhorns prepared to host Kansas State Saturday night.
There also exists Saban2014.com, which is exactly what it sounds like.
This is a reaction to an Associated Press report earlier this week that Texas regents and Alabama coach Nick Saban's agent spoke over the winter about what interest Saban may have in the UT job, should coach Mack Brown retire.
Brown has not retired, of course, and Saban, 61, said this week he's too old to start over at a new program.
But with the Longhorns (1-2) struggling, particularly on defense, it appears more likely by the week that Texas will be seeking a new football coach this offseason.
Texas fans are obviously aiming high.
