Cody Kessler passed for 242 yards and three touchdowns, and Max Wittek added two more scoring throws in Southern California's spring game Saturday.

The Trojans' spring practices ended with no clear favorite in the three-man race to replace four-year starting quarterback Matt Barkley. Wittek went 12 for 17 but also threw two interceptions to safety Demetrius Wright, while freshman Max Browne added one TD pass.

Kessler was the sharpest passer in the Coliseum scrimmage, hitting Marqise Lee for two of the Biletnikoff Award-winning receiver's three TD catches. Lee had eight catches for 148 yards, and Nelson Agholor added seven catches for 106 yards and two scores.

Coach Lane Kiffin didn't allow tackling while trying to keep his Trojans healthy. USC finished spring with 20 players unavailable because of injuries.
