Stanford lands DT prospect from Texas

The Stanford Cardinal have landed another verbal commitment for their 2016 recruiting class. This commitment comes in the form of DT Mike Williams from Fort Worth, Texas.

Williams, who is listed at 6'2" and 300 pounds, chose the Cardinal over offers from other national powerhouses such as Ohio State, Oregon, TCU and Texas.

He is rated as a 4-star prospect by scout.com and ranks as the No. 110 overall player in his class.

Stanford has 11 commitments so far for their 2016 class.
