Should USC give running back Ronald Jones II a bigger role on offense?
USC freshman running back Ronald Jones II showed his speed vs. Notre Dame, recording a 65-yard run in the second half.
Jones has 380 yards and nearly nine yards per carry through USC's six games, filling in servicably for senior Tre Madden. According to Paolo Uggetti, Jones ranks top ten in the nation for yards per carry. But he's not in the top one hundred for total number of carries. Expect Jones to see more of the workload as the Trojans continue the season.
Meanwhile, however, Jones isn't concerned with the amount of play time he's received.
"I'm actually playing more than I thought I would," said Jones, via LA Times. "So I'm really happy with where I'm at."

Ronald Jones II is Top 10 in the nation among RBs in yards per carry. But he's not even in the Top 100 in number of carries. #USC
