It's been hard for Tahlequah Sequoyah coach Brent Scott to brag about his quarterback son, but it's getting harder for him not to. Brayden Scott has thrown for 1,081 yards and eight touchdowns for the eighth-ranked Indians (5-1, 2-1 District 3A-6). "He's done phenomenal," Brent Scott said. "He's been the difference. Not very many times in a coaching career do you get to coach a guy who's a difference-maker, let alone your son." The quarterback's favorite targets have been Zack Robinson and Stuart Polk, who have combined for 34 catches, 660 yards and five TDs. "Those guys, we feel like, will be big-time college football players," Scott said. The Indians' only loss was to Verdigris, which won the game in the last minute. Up next is Friday's district showdown at Metro Christian (4-2, 2-0). "It is a big game," Scott said. "It's one of those games where you circle it last year when the schedule came out."
