Sam Houston-JMU to kick off FCS quarterfinals

(STATS) - FCS quarterfinal weekend will begin with Sam Houston State at James Madison next Friday night.

The matchup between the fifth-seeded Bearkats (12-0) and fourth-seeded Dukes (11-1) will have a 7 p.m. ET kickoff on ESPN2.

The other three quarterfinals will be played Saturday, starting with No. 1 seed North Dakota State (11-1) hosting No. 8 seed South Dakota State (9-3) at noon ET on ESPN. NDSU has won the last five FCS national titles, but its lone loss this season was against SDSU.

A matchup of unseeded teams will take place when Youngstown State (10-3) hosts Wofford (10-3) at 2 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.

Second-seeded Eastern Washington (11-1) will host unseeded Richmond (10-3) at 4 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
