Evan Royster has broken the Penn State career rushing record with a 20-yard run in the first quarter of Saturday night's game against Michigan.
The senior darted up the middle, then bowled over a defensive back for a couple extra yards for a first down. He later scored on the drive for his second touchdown of the game to put the Nittany Lions up 14-7.
Royster entered the night 31 behind Hall of Famer Curt Warner, who ran for 3,398 yards from 1979-82.
