Report: Oregon All-American Ekpre-Olomu suffers serious knee injury

According to a report from Yahoo Sports, Oregon cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu suffered a serious knee injury in practice on Tuesday.

The Ducks are concerned Ekpre-Olomu tore his ACL, per the report.

The senior was named a first-team All-American on Tuesday by FOX Sports and the Associated Press.

Prior to the reported injury, Ekpre-Olomu was also a projected first-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Per program policy, Oregon typically refrains from commenting on injuries. 

The Ducks are ranked No. 2 in the College Football Playoff and will face No. 3 Florida State in the Rose Bowl, a national semifinal game, on Jan. 1.
