Report: Ole Miss adds grad transfer TE same day they dismiss another

In a move that should shore up some depth concerns at the tight end position, the Ole Miss Rebels have reportedly added former Lamar graduate transfer tight end Dillon Barrett.

The six-foot-four, 235-pound Barrett caught 17 passes for 194 yards last season, as he appeared in 12 games for Lamar, according to the team's website, LamarAthletics.com.

As a graduate transfer, Barrett will be eligible to play this season for Ole Miss.

While Barrett may not have standout numbers, he does have one thing going for him, he works out with Brett Favre:
