Report: LSU's starting QB, two other football players, arrested

BY foxsports • June 18, 2015

A bad day of news just got significantly worse for the LSU Tigers, as reports indicate starting quarterback Anthony Jennings has been arrested.

According to The Advocate, Jennings in addition to defensive lineman Maquedius Bain and defensive back Dwayne Thomas were taken into custody by LSU police and thrown in prison.

The three players are currently being charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.

Thomas started the first five games of the season at cornerback for LSU last season before suffering an injury that ended his season prematurely. Jennings started every game at quarterback except for a 41-7 loss at Auburn in 2014.

This is the second arrest of the day for the Tigers, as defensive tackle Trey Lealaimatafao was arrested earlier in the day.
