Report: FSU-Alabama game will start 2017 season

Florida State athletic director Stan Wilcox told a group of Seminoles boosters at a Board of Directors meeting in Charleston, S.C., on Friday that a season-opening game with Alabama in 2017 is set, although a contract has not been signed an agreement was in place.

The game is expected to be played in the new stadium that will serve as the home of the Atlanta Falcons, which is scheduled to open in 2017.
