Report: Alabama's Landon Collins leaving early for NFL Draft

Alabama junior safety Landon Collins, the team's top tackler on a team that reached the national semifinals, will forgo senior season and enter NFL Draft, Yahoo Sports reported Thursday.

Collins amassed 103 stops and three interceptions during the 2014 season and was one of three finalists for the Thorpe Award, given annually to the nation's top defensive back. Louisville's Gerod Holliman won the award this season.

Sporting News projects Collins as a late first-round pick.
