Pitt honors legends, 'hometown heroes' on Twitter
Pitt has a rich history of football excellence, as several Panthers have gone on to become near-immortals of the game.
This week, the team took the time to honor a few of their past and present standouts by sharing some photos on Twitter.
Here's a photo of two signed jerseys, one belonging to Mike Ditka and the other belonging to Aaron Donald. Ditka is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame; might the 2014 Defensive Rookie of the Year be chasing his legacy?
This series of photos features another Hall of Famer, Curtis Martin. See him pictured with 2014 ACC Player of the Year James Conner in the bottom right corner.
The final group of stillframes are of Larry Fitzgerald, who's still getting the job done after 11 NFL seasons. Before long, Tyler Boyd will be nipping at his heels.
