Pitt all-ACC DE granted a sixth year of eligibility
On a day that’s all about trying to land prized high school prospects, the biggest news out of Pitt on National Signing Day centered around the return of all-ACC defensive end Ejuan Price.
Price, who ranked third in the ACC in both sacks (11.5) and tackles for a loss (19.5) in 2015 was granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA on Wednesday.
The six-foot, 250-pound pass rusher has a history of injuries beginning in 2012 when he missed the entire season with a pectoral injury. In 2013, Price sat out the last seven games of the year with a back injury and was sidelined for all of the 2014 season with a chest muscle injury.
In 2015, Price was a force for the Panthers as he tallied a career-high 48 tackles and forced and recovered one fumble.
