Pena's 1-yard plunge in OT lifts Brown over Cornell 28-21

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) Johnny Pena's 1-yard touchdown plunge on the second overtime possession lifted Brown over Cornell 28-21 on Saturday.

Pena had 96 yards rushing on 23 carries. Thomas Linta completed 12 of 28 attempts for 154 yards with two touchdowns, while Alexander Jette made nine catches for 111 yards and two scores, including a 2-yard toss which evened it in the first overtime.

Jette returned a punt 79 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter, then hauled in an 18-yard TD catch at the start of the third to build a 14-0 lead for the Bears (2-4, 1-2).

Cornell (3-3, 1-2) responded with a 10-play, 85-yard touchdown drive, culminated by Dalton Banks' 9-yard scoring strike to Matt Sullivan. After a Brown fumble in its own end, Cornell capitalized as Banks found Ben Rogers from 5 yards to tie it. Banks finished 21 of 37 for 201 yards and three TDs.

Both teams missed field goals in the last 5 minutes of regulation.
