ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) Michigan has added Chris Partridge to Jim Harbaugh's on-field staff to coach linebackers in its bowl game.
The Wolverines made the move Thursday after Maryland hired defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin as head.
Harbaugh says Partridge has a proven track record as a successful coach.
Partridge was hired by Michigan earlier this year to be its director of player personnel in recruiting. Partridge was a head coach for five seasons at Paramus Catholic High School in New Jersey. Previously, he was an assistant at The Citadel.
