Pac-12 North true freshman may light up conference in 2015
Nick Selbe of Bleacher Report just released his list of Pac-12 true freshman who may have an immediate impact on their teams in 2015.
While UCLA QB Josh Rosen leads the list of potentially impactful freshman, there are a number of Pac-12 North players that made the list as well.
Stanford WR Trent Irwin came in at No. 3 on the list and is the most highly ranked member of the Pac-12 North on the list. Irwin figures to be one of Kevin Hogan's main targets in 2015 and possesses the size and speed that Stanford will need opposite of senior WR Devon Cajuste.
Oregon's star recruit DE Canton Kaumatule came in at No. 4 on the list an is expected to start right away opposite of DeForest Buckner, who could be a first-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Washington QB Jake Browning comes it at No. 6. While Browning is not the favorite to win the Washington QB job, he may end up as the Huskies starter should Jeff Lindquist and K.J. Carta-Samuels fail to lock up the position.
Other players mentioned by Bleacher Report's Selbe include OSU QB Seth Collins, Stanford S Frank Buncom IV, Oregon RB Taj Griffin and Cal RB Lonny Powell.
