Oregon's Charles Nelson is playing '100 percent' offense right now
The battle for the rights to use Charles Nelson has come to a halt. The sophomore sensation, who has been used on both offense, defense and special teams in practice, has been "won" by the offense.
With Oregon's secondary looking strong in practice, the Oregon coaches decided that it would be best for the team, and Nelson, if he were to focus on being a wide receiver, for now.
"It's not a done deal, but that's what he's focusing on right now," Oregon receivers coach Matt Lubick said, according to Tyson Alger of The Oregonian. "Right now, he's going 100 percent offense."
"We expect him to be a bigger part of our offense than he was last year," Lubick said. "He's picking up right where he left off. He practices with a passion. He's very talented and very physical."
