Oregon sophomore wide receiver Darren Carrington has been a revelation for the Ducks after serving a six-game suspension to start the season.

Carrington had been especially good on third down and has averaged 31.9 yards per catch on seven third-down receptions this season.

Asked by reporters why he's been so productive on third downs, Carrington had a pretty good response.

"Honestly," said Carrington, "I hate punting."

"Whenever we have to punt or kick a field goal, I'm not going to lie, I get mad sometimes," Carrington said, per The Oregonian. "Whenever I'm out there and I have a chance to make a play on like a third down or fourth down, I just want to go make that play to keep the team moving."

Former Oregon coach Chip Kelly would be very proud of these comments.
