Oregon QB Dakota Prukop can't wait to get started with the Ducks
Graduate transfer QB Dakota Prukop is officially on the Oregon campus and enrolled in classes. It seems as though he's pretty excited to get back to school.
"I feel like a kid on Christmas -- just waiting and waiting," Prukop said, via ESPN.
While Prukop has been eagerly waiting for the opportunity to officially enroll at Oregon, he was just as interested in finding out who would take over for Scott Frost as the Ducks' offensive coordinator. When Matt Lubick was promoted into the role, Prukop was excited.
"I had a feeling that was going to happen just because when I was up there on my visit, just meeting with coach Helfrich and coach Lubick, the amount of support coach Helfrich has for coach Lubick, I could sort of tell that’s someone he trusts and believes in," Prukop said. "Coach Lubick is someone I want to play for."
The Ducks won't get their first real look at their new QB until spring ball begins in mid-April. However, the former Montana State signal-caller plans to get familiar with Oregon's signals and terminology in the meantime.
