WHAT'S AT STAKE

The Ducks are already headed to the Pac-12 Championship game, although their opponent has not been determined. At No. 2 in the College Football Playoff rankings, it appears fairly certain that if the Ducks can get past the Beavers and win the league championship game, they're in the first playoffs. Oregon State needs one more win to become bowl eligible. If they lose, it will mark the end of Sean Mannion's stellar career with the Beavers.

KEY MATCHUP

Oregon's vaunted offense against Oregon State's defense. Marcus Mariota & Co. are averaging are averaging a Pac-12-best 537.2 yards of total offense each game. They're also scoring an averaging of 45.8 points per game. Oregon State's defense, which saved the Beavers in their upset victory over Arizona State this season, is ranked second in the Pac-12 behind Stanford and allowing opponents just under 392 yards a game.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Oregon: Mariota remains one of the favorites for the Heisman Trophy this year. He needs five touchdown passes to hit 100 for his career, and pass Matt Leinart (99) for second on the Pac-12's career list.

Oregon State: Mannion, who could be playing in his final college game, already holds the league record with 13,438 career passing yards, which is ranked ninth all-time at the FBS level.

FACTS AND FIGURES

Oregon has won the last six in the series, including the last three at Reser Stadium. ... Last year the Beavers took the lead on Victor Bolden's 25-yard run with 1:39 left. But Mariota orchestrated a drive that was capped with a 12-yard touchdown pass to John Huff with 29 seconds to go for a 36-35 victory. ... The series between the two teams dates back to 1894 and is the longest-running rivalry west of the Rocky Mountains. ... Oregon State kicker Trevor Romaine is no longer with the Beavers.
