Oregon is expecting an intense welcome as it travels to Husky Stadium

Oregon has won 11 straight games against Washington. However, come Saturday, the Ducks are expecting its toughest test in over a decade from the Huskies.
Oregon and Washington is a bitter Northwest rivalry that dates back 112 years. The Oregon players know that they're heading into an incredibly hostile environment. Some of the players are looking forward to it.
“It’s fun because it’s very hostile,” left tackle Tyler Johnstone said, according to the Register-Guard. “You go in there and you’re getting the middle finger from everybody you pass when you’re in the bus driving in. Normally it’s just the college students that do it at other schools, but you’ll see a 90-year-old grandma just (giving the finger).”
As for why the Huskies want to beat the Ducks so badly, some players suggested that it was simply because Oregon has dominated the series recently.
“They want to beat us just because we’re Oregon and we’ve been beating on them for so long,” senior linebacker Tyson Coleman said. “Every team that plays us brings their ‘A’ game, and they really seem to step it up every time we play against them. I expect no exception from UW.”
Oregon and Washington meet in Seattle on Saturday at 7:30 PM.
