Oregon CB Arrion Springs compares his job situation to Future and Ciara's relationship

Earlier this season, Oregon's secondary coach John Neal had some strong words to say about sophomore cornerback Arrion Springs.

"I think he's very average right now," said Neal prior to Oregon's 62-20 loss to Utah, per The Oregonian. "It shows."

Spring's was benched in that Utah game: however, he has earned his spot back and made the biggest play of his career last Thursday against Arizona State. Spring intercepted Sun Devil's QB Mike Bercovici in the end zone in triple overtime to secure Oregon's 61-55 victory.

According to reporter Steve Mims of The Register-Guard, Springs compared himself to the artist Future when asked earning his starting job back.

"Future broke up with Ciara and now he's killing it," said Springs. "That's like how it was for me."

Springs may not want to say that around Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson.
