Old Dominion 33, N.C. Central 21

Thomas DeMarco passed for 286 yards and Jarod Brown kicked four field goals as Old Dominion defeated North Carolina Central 33-21 Saturday.
The Monarchs (8-3) struck early, bolting to a 24-0 lead 20 minutes into the game and forcing the Eagles (3-8) to try to play catch-up. North Carolina Central's Jordan Reid answered with a touchdown run and two scoring passes to Geovonie Irvine, but the deficit proved too much to overcome.
Ronnie Cameron led the Old Dominion defense with 14 tackles and forced a fumble.
Brown kicked field goals of 33, 26, 48 and 31 yards for Old Dominion.
DeMarco completed 22 of 32 passes while tossing one interception. He connected eight times with Reid Evans, who accumulated 111 yards and a touchdown.
Reid passed for 175 yards and rushed for 70.
