Ohio State expects 80,000 at its spring game this Saturday

Nebraska’s fan base showed up in a big way for its program’s spring game last Saturday. More than 76,000 Huskers attended Mike Riley’s first exhibition as the team’s head coach.

Ohio State is expecting to one-up its conference foe.

The Buckeyes, whose spring game is this Saturday, have sold roughly 61,000 tickets for the game and are expecting 80,000 people to attend with favorable weather conditions.

That’s a number that would likely lead the country in spring game attendance in 2015. Nebraska currently leads – and big-time programs like Alabama and Auburn haven’t had their games yet – but an attendance of 80,000 probably won’t be topped.
