Ohio State DE Tracy Sprinkle dismissed by coach Urban Meyer

Ohio State defensive end Tracy Sprinkle has been dismissed from the football team.

Sprinkle was arrested Saturday on charges of drug possession, drug paraphernalia, failure to disperse and rioting after an incident at a bar in Lorain, Ohio.

On Monday, the 19-year-old Sprinkle entered not guilty pleas to possession of cocaine and the aformentioned charges.

According to cleveland.com, an Ohio State spokesman said that while coach Urban Meyer has decided to dismiss Sprinkle, his status could be reevaluated depending on the outcome of this issue.
