Notre Dame tickets highest on the secondary market

The expectations are sky-high at Notre Dame this season, and apparently so are the ticket prices.

According to an article published in Forbes, Notre Dame tickets are the most expensive in college football on the secondary market, going for an average of $293.85 for a home game.

That price is 30 percent higher than it was last season when the Fighting Irish rose to No. 8 in the national rankings before losing four straight games to get bounced out of the polls. Notre Dame finished the season with an 8-5 record.

The most expensive Notre Dame ticket on the schedule this year is the Irish’s season opener against Texas, which is currently going for a whopping $851.20 per ticket.

Coming in at No. 2 on the list is Notre Dame’s Oct. 17 battle with USC, which is fetching an average price of $411.90 on the secondary market.
