NDSU's DeLuca is Senior Bowl-bound

(STATS) - The FCS contingent of players at the Senior Bowl has grown to double figures.

North Dakota State linebacker Nick DeLuca on Tuesday became the 10th FCS player announced for the 69th annual all-star game on Jan. 27 at Ladd-Peebles Stadiums in Mobile, Alabama.

The 6-foot-3, 245-pound DeLuca is a leader of a Bison defense that has allowed the fewest yards per game in the FCS. The NFL prospect has 54 tackles, eight tackles for loss and 4 1/2 sacks in 10 games.

Other FCS players who were announced previously for the Senior Bowl were Richmond quarterback Kyle Lauletta, South Dakota State tight end Dallas Goedert, offensive tackles Brandon Parker of North Carolina A&T and Timon Parris of Stony Brook, Idaho State offensive guard Skyler Phillips, South Carolina State linebacker Darius Leonard, and cornerbacks Danny Johnson of Southern, Siran Neal of Jacksonville State and D'Montre Wade of Murray State.
