Mississippi State receiver Leon Berry will miss the rest of the regular season because of a dislocated ankle suffered during Saturday's 47-24 victory over Houston.
Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen says Berry, a 6-foot-0, 205-pound junior, could possibly return if the Bulldogs make a bowl game. Berry has caught eight passes for 188 yards and a touchdown.
He was also the Bulldogs' main kick returner, averaging 26.8 yards per return, including a touchdown.
Mississippi State (4-2, 1-2 Southeastern Conference) travels to face No. 22 Florida (4-2, 2-2) on Saturday in Gainesville, Fla.
