Mom! Ohio State LB gets no sympathy from mother after hard hit

Darron Lee was one of the breakout stars for the Ohio State defense last season, and he is having another fine year for the Buckeyes this season.

But that does not mean he's above getting some tough love from his mother.

On Saturday, Lee was rocked by a blind-side block in the first half of Ohio State's game at Illinois. After being attended to for a few minutes, Lee walked off the field.

His mother, Candice, however, showed she wasn't too concerned with this funny tweet: 

Lee returned to the field after one play and finished with seven tackles under his belt, as the Buckeyes won 28-3 to improve to 10-0.

Which only goes to prove once again that mother knows best, though Lee doesn't always like to hear it:
