Mizzou Tigers land three-star athlete Ca'Ron Baham

The Missouri Tigers expansion into the heart of SEC country continues, as Louisiana native Ca'Ron Baham committed to the two-time defending SEC East champs over the weekend.

Baham is the fourth prospect to verbally commit to the Tigers 2016 recruiting class and is currently rated as a three-star athlete. 

The Marrero, Louisiana native had scholarship offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Memphis and Southern Miss among others. 

Of the Tigers four commits thus far, two are from Mississippi and the other from Missouri. The Tigers' recent success in the SEC appears to be winning over recruits from the region. 

It will be interesting to see how the school's shift in investing in southern athletes pays off down the road. Is it possible Gary Pinkel and company have only just begun to own the East?
