Mike Gundy says improving run game big priority entering 2016 season

If there is one thing Oklahoma State was well below average at this season, it was running the football. J.W. Walsh was the Cowboys' most effective runner at times, and while Walsh is a good scrambler, that's usually not something you want to say about your backup quarterback.

Barry J. Sanders, the son of the great Barry Sanders, is rumored to have interest in transferring to Stillwater. But the rushing issues go further than exclusively the running back position.

“If we don't improve in the running game,” Gundy said on Thursday, “we won't win 10 games next year.”
