Michigan backup safety Marvin Robinson has been scheduled for a preliminary hearing on a home invasion charge.

Robinson is on the docket Wednesday afternoon at Washtenaw Country 14A District Court.

Wolverines coach Brady Hoke says he's aware of the report, adding he won't have further comment until the legal process runs its course.

Robinson hasn't played since Oct. 1 against Minnesota. He made nine tackles in five games. The sophomore from Winter Haven, Fla., started against Notre Dame this year and played in 11 games last season for coach Rich Rodriguez.
