Michigan pulls pair of weekend commitments on satellite camp tour

Jim Harbaugh's innovative and controversial summer camp tour has proven to be an immediate hit, especially when it comes to producing future Wolverines.

Three players have already verbally committed to Michigan since the tour started last week, including Dytarious Johnson and Chris Evans over the weekend.

Johnson, a two-star linebacker prospect from camp host Prattville, Alabama, got an offer Saturday and took it immediately according to Scout.com affiliate TheMichiganInsider.com. Johnson is the second Prattville player to commit to Michigan's 2016 class, joining three-star running back Kingston Davis, who gave his pledge in early April.

Evans, a four-star running back from Indianapolis (Ind.) Ben Davis, pulled the trigger Saturday and told TMI he could play on either side of the ball in Ann Arbor. Evans previously had a Michigan offer but got another chance to work with the coaches during the camp stop in his home state June 4.

The satellite camp tour started last week with a verbal commitment from Kiante Enis of Indiana on day one.
