SAN DIEGO (AP) Keith Williams threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, Dallas Kessman ran for 102 yards and two scores, and Troy McClelland had a late interception to help San Diego beat Dayton 40-29 in a key Pioneer League game Saturday night.

San Diego (6-1, 4-1) scored 20 fourth-quarter points on touchdown runs by Kessman, Chris Campano and Williams.

Kessman tied the game on a 7-yard run early the fourth quarter, but a bobbled hold on the ensuing PAT left it tied at 26-26.

Dayton (5-2, 3-1) then capped a 10-play, 67-yard drive with a 24-yard field goal by William Will about five minutes later.
