Mallett out for Arkansas after blow to head

Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett left the game against Auburn after taking a blow to the head.

Mallett was taken to the locker room after guiding the No. 12 Razorbacks to a touchdown for a 14-10 lead with 5 minutes left in the first half. It wasn't clear how he was injured, but he didn't return for the rest of the period.

Sophomore Tyler Wilson took over at quarterback and guided Arkansas to a touchdown.

Mallett was averaging nearly 350 yards passing. No. 7 Auburn led 27-21 at halftime in the crucial Southeastern Conference game.
