LSU using Bon Jovi to prepare for expected noise on Saturday night

Piping loud noise into practice is a tactic used by many coaches to prepare their team for a hostile game on the road.

The whole idea is to mimic the atmosphere. The team should be able to practice its hand-signals needed to compensate for the lack of vocal communication.

LSU is expected to enter the "Stark Vegas" concerto of cowbells on Saturday night. The sounds of cowbells will literally be ringing in virtually every person's head attending the contest between the Tigers and the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

As a means to cope with the expected noise, Les Miles piped in Bon Jovi's music during LSU's Wednesday practice.

Yes, Captain Kidd himself.

It would be fascinating to see which songs Miles opted to utilize. Surely, "Livin' on a Prayer" and "Wanted Dead or Alive" were featured.

One has to wonder...are these songs truly going to help LSU deal with the noise, or did Miles just feel like listening to Bon Jovi on a Wednesday afternoon?
