Chris Lum threw for 393 yards and Lehigh claimed its 10th Patriot League championship, beating Georgetown 34-12 on Saturday.

Lum, who leads the Football Championship Subdivision in total offense, came into the contest averaging 351.2 yards per game with 30 touchdown passes. Lum led Lehigh on six scoring drives before his 5-yard touchdown run in the third quarter gave the Hawks a 34-12 lead to put the game away.

Matt Fitz and Michael Colvin both ran for touchdowns and Bryan Andrews returned an interception 26 yards for a score for Lehigh (9-1, 4-0).

Lehigh controlled the clock all game, holding the ball for 38:11 compared to just 21:49 for Georgetown. The Hawks ran 82 plays from scrimmage while holding the Hoyas to 64.

Lehigh has won eight consecutive games. With the victory, the Mountain Hawks have won the last 10 meetings against the Hoyas (8-3, 3-2).
