Ketteringham leads Sacramento St past Idaho St, 38-13

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) Nate Ketteringham threw four touchdown passes, three to Shane Harrison, and Sacramento State earned its first Big Sky Conference win in five tries with a 38-13 win over Idaho State Saturday night.

The Bengals (2-5, 1-3 Big Sky) took a 7-0 lead on an Xavier Finney 2-yard touchdown in the first quarter, but Ketteringham threw a pair of TD passes in the second quarter, finding Harrison from 20 yards out and Garrett Steele from the 2 and the Hornets (2-6, 1-4) took a 17-10 lead at intermission. Ketteringham, who completed 20 of 26 for 287 yards, found Harrison with a second 20-yard TD strike to open the third quarter and again from 61-yards out five minutes later.

Joey Banks picked off Idaho State's Tanner Gueller and returned it 41 yards for the game's final score.

Gueller was 20 of 36 for 233 yards.

Harrison caught 8 passes for 159 yards.
