Kansas LB Joe Dineen Jr. is Jayhawks' unsung hero
There wasn't a lot to smile about for Kansas on the football field this season. The Jayhawks went 0-12, and while they played some close games, going winless obviously isn't going to produce many bright spots.
But there were some, if you look hard enough. Linebacker Joe Dineen Jr. finished with 86 tackles (66 solo) -- including 6.5 tackles for loss -- four quarterback hurries, three sacks and one pass breakup.
Dineen started his career as a running back, and as early as last year, he was Kansas' best starting linebacker. See why he was the Jays' unsung hero over at ESPN.
