K Byrum sets Auburn scoring mark

Auburn kicker Wes Byrum has become the leading scorer in Tigers history.

Byrum broke John Vaughn's record with an extra point and then a 42-yard field goal in the second quarter of No. 5 Auburn's game against No. 6 LSU on Saturday.

Byrum came in three points shy of Vaughn's school record of 312 set from 2003-06. He set the single-season school mark for points by a kicker with 99 last season. With 69 coming into the game, he's on track to challenge that mark.
