Jacksonville St. 29, SE Missouri 27

Alan Bonner scored on a 17-yard pass from Marques Ivory with 11 seconds remaining and Jacksonville State slipped past Southeast Missouri 29-27 on Saturday.

Ivory completed 18 of 26 passes for 226 yards as the Gamecocks (9-1, 6-1 Ohio Valley Conference) tied the Redhawks (9-2, 7-1) for the conference lead. It was the seventh win in eight games at home against the Redhawks.

James Esco gave the Gamecocks a 22-21 lead in the fourth quarter with 6:43 to play on a 25-yard field goal. Esco also had field goals of 34 and 42 yards in the first half. The lead was short-lived as the Redhawks took a 27-22 lead on a 1-yard run by Henry Harris with 4:06 remaining. Bonner's catch capped a 57-yard drive for the win.

Harris rushed for 139 yards and Matt Scheible completed 13 of 22 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown for the Redhawks.
