Jacksonville holds off Campbell to win 52-45
Kade Bell threw four touchdown passes as Jacksonville outlasted Campbell 52-45 in a Pioneer Football League contest on Saturday.
Following a 50-yard touchdown pass from Brian Hudson to Kurt Odom which brought Campbell within striking distance, Jacksonville (3-4, 2-2) recovered an onside kick with 2:00 left to play. Ulysses Bryant then rushed four times for 24 yards to bleed out the clock.
Bryant finished with a game-high 120 yards rushing, on 17 carries, as the Dolphins racked up 314 yards on the ground and averaged 6.8 yards per rush.
D'Andre Randle had three catches for 58 yards and a score and added an 84-yard touchdown run for Jacksonville.
Hudson completed 14 of 29 passes for 227 yards and a score and carried the ball 22 times for 110 yards and three more touchdowns.
Campbell (1-6, 0-4) allowed at least 300 yards rushing for the second time this season.
