Jackson State scored 34 unanswered second-half points to beat Arkansas-Pine Bluff 48-10 on Saturday night.

Jackson State (5-1, 3-1 Southwestern Athletic Conference) entered halftime with a 14-10 lead, courtesy of two touchdown passes from Casey Therriault, who opened the scoring with a 77-yard bomb to Rico Richardson and then connected with Richardson again from 45 yards out.

Therriault finished with 263 yards on 17-of-22 passing and added a 6-yard rushing touchdown. Richardson grabbed five passes for 174 yards.

Jackson State's efficiency in the air was due in part to its effectiveness on the ground. The Tigers rushed for 242 yards on 35 attempts and scored with four different runners. Tommy Gooden led the rushing attack with 115 yards on 12 carries.
