SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly says offensive lineman Christian Lombard and junior wide receiver Will Mahone will both miss the rest of spring practice after undergoing surgery.

Kelly says Lombard, a two-year starter at guard and tackle, had surgery Thursday for a dislocated right wrist. Lombard started the first seven games at right guard last season before back surgery for a herniated disk. He started every game at right tackle in 2012 and is expected to be a starter this fall.

Mahone had surgery for a fracture to his right foot on March 6. Mahone, who will be a junior in the fall, originally was a running back but switched to receiver last season. He has appeared in two games, but doesn't have a catch or carry.
