A four-star athlete prospect from Akron (Ohio) Hoban, Morris is the highest-rated member of the Hoosiers' 2016 class so far.
He is rated No. 228 nationally by Scout.com, 28 spots higher than Lafayette (Ind.) Central Catholic offensive lineman Coy Cronk, who committed in December.
Indiana did not get any four-star recruits last year.
A 6-4, 205-pound athlete, Morris was part of the Ohio Division III state championship team last fall.
He caught two passes for 61 yards in a 33-20 win over Toledo Central Catholic in the championship game, including a 53-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
He will join an Indiana offense that led the Big Ten in scoring, passing yards and total yards last season but must replace starting quarterback Nate Sudfeld.
